In November 2019, I created my very first EP called 'Take it Easy'.
I recorded six jazz songs, from romantic ballads to medium tempo swing: easy-going and swinging jazz music.

ABOUT TIJN TROMMELEN
Tijn Trommelen is a man on a mission. Growing up in a family of (jazz) musicians, he immediately was certain of becoming one himself.
Starting off as a guitarist, he later on found another passion: singing. Inspired by the composers of the past, he is now also writing his own songs with the spirit of “The Great American Songbook” in mind.
His music is timeless, romantic, swinging and joyful. His playful and charismatic performance will make sure everybody will be taking part in his musical journey.
While bringing refreshing energy into the jazz scene, he is dreaming of making jazz pop music again.
Besides already working in the field as an (inter-) national jazz musician, he is also working on a lot of new music at this moment.

Tijn Trommelen is een man met een missie. Hij groeide op in een muzikanten familie, toen wist hij van jongs af aan al dat hij ook een muzikant wilde worden.
Hij begon als gitarist maar later ontdekte hij een nieuwe passie: zingen. Geïnspireerd door componisten uit het verleden, schrijft hij nu zijn eigen muziek in de geest van “The Great American Songbook”.
Zijn muziek is tijdloos, romantisch, swingend en vol vreugde. Zijn speelse en charismatische optredens zorgen ervoor dat iedereen onderdeel uitmaakt van zijn muzikale avontuur.
Terwijl hij een frisse energie in de jazz scene brengt, droomt hij er van om van jazz popmuziek te maken.
Buiten dat hij al (inter-)nationaal werkt als jazz muzikant, werkt hij momenteel aan een hoop nieuwe muziek.
